Many people facing cancer find it helpful to speak to a counsellor. To find one in your area, the best place to start is your local hospital or community health centre. Many have social workers, counsellors and pastoral care departments. Below are a few resources.

The centre's social workers provide extensive counselling services for patients and their families. They also connect patients with community and support services as well as financial assistance.
